Bushmen Expeditions & Safaris is a team of experienced people working together for years, each of us has a different professional back ground and specialty in the travel and tourism industry. Hence we have all one thing in common, we stepped in this venture a few years ago with a passion for wildlife and conservation and all become field guides, well trained with hands-on experience.

Our Team

Managing Director Seth Joseph is a Tanzanian Safari Guide from Moshi, He attended Royal College of Tour Guides and International Languages and emerged with Certificates in Tour Guiding from intensive classroom learning to varied field trip experiences. This has provided him with excellent knowledge about his country and its cultures, flora and fauna. During his professional experience, Seth has met many great people and some of those have joined him in establishing Bushmen Expeditions & Safaris based on his skills and expertise in the way of professional safari and mountain guiding. Seth's other passion is to volunteer and assist his fellow countrymen as much as he can, therefore he is lucky enough to combine both his passions of guiding and helping to develop the community.

Managing Director Abbas Alula is a Tanzanian tour operator with countless years of experience in the field organizing Northern Circuit and Southern Circuit Safaris, as well as Mountain Climbing Expeditions in the heart of Tanzania’s Mt Kilimanjaro region. Aside from the experience, he is also equipped with local knowledge and the skills required to navigate efficiently and effectively through the mountains and safari plains making every clients trip a learning experience as well as a fantastic and memorable holiday experience.

Our Mountain Guides and Team were all born in the Kilimanjaro region and therefore possess knowledge of the mountains that cannot be learnt. Our Chefs are all college-trained and understand the art of creating delicious cuisine with limited resources while adhering to the ‘laws of hygiene.
